For admins
What an admin does in Noumento, from your team’s first sign-in to removing someone who has left.
How your account starts
Someone on your team asks for access on the request access page.
We read every request, and approved teams start with a free 14-day trial. If your request is approved, you get an email inviting you to sign in, and you join as your team’s admin.
The app’s sidebar shows your trial’s last day.
When a trial ends, Noumento stops collecting new data. Everything already collected stays available, and you can keep asking about it. The privacy policy says how long it stays after that.
Pricing is agreed after the trial.
Inviting people
On the Members page, choose Invite people and add their email addresses.
Each person gets an email inviting them to sign in, and joins as a member unless you make them an admin.
Until someone signs in, their row says Not signed in yet. If their invitation didn’t arrive, choose Resend invitation on that row.
Admins and members
Admins manage the Team and Members pages.
To change someone’s role, choose Make admin or Make member on their row. Your team must keep at least one admin who has signed in.
Being an admin doesn’t let you see anyone else’s private record, in the app or through your assistant.
No member’s assistant can read another member’s private record.
Team settings
Open Team in the sidebar to reach Team settings.
To change which sensitive topics are kept out, see Sensitive topics.
When teammates answer one of Noumento’s quick questions differently, the question waits under Questions for an admin to settle. Choose Settle this to pick the answer.
Choosing which sources your team can connect
Your team’s admin can turn a source off for the whole team. While it is off, Noumento reads nothing new from it.
On the Team page, under Sources your team can connect, choose Turn off next to a source, or Allow to turn it back on. If people have already connected it, the page says how many and asks you to confirm.
The setting covers your own sources too.
Adding Noumento to Slack
Open Team in the sidebar. Under Weekly review in Slack, choose Add Noumento to Slack and approve Slack’s screen. Slack brings you back to Team settings.
Some workspaces only allow apps an owner has approved. If yours does, ask a Workspace Owner first.
Adding Noumento to Slack asks Slack for permission to send messages, and for no permission to read them.
Nobody is sent a weekly review in Slack until they turn it on themselves.
Once it is added, Team settings says so. It names the workspace when Slack gives a name, and says how many members have their weekly review in Slack on once anyone does.
To remove it, choose Remove Noumento from Slack in Team settings, then Remove from Slack to confirm.
Removing it stops the weekly reviews for your whole team. It leaves everyone’s Slack source connected, and it keeps each person’s choice in case you add it again.
If Noumento is removed inside Slack, the weekly reviews stop. Before each week’s reviews, Noumento asks Slack whether its access still works, and when Slack says it was revoked, Team settings says so.
If Team settings says Slack ended Noumento’s access, you can add it again with Add Noumento to Slack.
Removing someone who has left
On the Members page, choose Deactivate on their row and confirm.
When an admin deactivates someone, they are signed out everywhere, their assistant connections stop working and they can no longer sign in.
The Members page can’t undo a deactivation. To invite the same address again, write to us.
What people shared stays with the team after they move on.
Their sources
When an admin deactivates someone, Noumento disconnects their sources and collects nothing more from them.
When an admin deactivates someone, their weekly review in Slack is turned off too.
